Riviera Beach, FL – Community Partners of South Florida is thrilled to announce that CEO, Kelly Powell has been nominated for the prestigious 2025 Dan's Papers Palm Beach Power List. This recognition celebrates individuals who demonstrate excellence in business and community impact.

Kelly's journey with Community Partners of South Florida began in 2009 as the Safe Kids Director for Palm Beach County. Her expertise in safety extended globally, working with diverse populations, including residents of Qatar and Indigenous tribal communities across North America, as a Safe Kids Worldwide Ambassador and subject matter expert in motor vehicle injury reduction.

Her dedication and leadership led to successive promotions: Vice President of Community Services in 2019, where she managed programs with a $6 million budget; Chief Operating Officer in 2022, overseeing a team of 230 across 25+ programs; and finally, Chief Executive Officer in 2023. Celebrating her 15th anniversary with the organization last year, Kelly is committed to bold, visionary leadership, continuing to build trusted relationships with private and public entities to better facilitate solutions and investing in people, places, and systems so neighborhoods and residents thrive.

"I am deeply passionate about serving Palm Beach County and working alongside the dedicated team at CPSFL to create thriving neighborhoods and improve the lives of our residents. The 2025 Dan's Papers Palm Beach Power List award gala will be held on Wednesday, March 5th, at The Colony Hotel. The event will include a VIP Power Hour, a networking cocktail reception and an awards ceremony. A raffle will be held to benefit a local cause.
