“AMERICAN STORIES AS TOLD THROUGH THE CULTURAL ARTS”
What:
Kicking off the celebratory countdown to the presidential debate in Boca Raton later in the month, Downtown Boca’s Friday Night LIVE! series presented by JM Lexus hosts free and open-to-the-public Community & Culture Expo: “American Stories As Told Through The Cultural Arts.” Local organizations will showcase their patriotism through theme-related music, theater, art, film, literature, and community advocacy. On display at the Boca Raton Museum of Art (BRMA) will be “Politics NOT as Usual: Quilts with Something to Say”, an exhibit that depicts presidential candidates, independence, and other political landscapes which will be on display until January 20, 2013; free admission to all Boca residents until 7 p.m. Food and beverage vendors will be on site.
When: Friday, October 5, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Mizner Park Amphitheater, Downtown Boca
How much: Expo is free and open-to-the-public; the BRMA will offer free admission to all Boca residents until 7 p.m.
