(Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) - Just in time for the first day of school, the Devonshire at PGA National community equipped children of employees with essential school supplies for the upcoming year.  On Friday, August 15, the community distributed bags full of school supplies for 180 children of staff members at Devonshire and Chatsworth, the continuing care neighborhood associated with Devonshire.  Items for the bags were determined from supply lists gathered from the school district of Palm Beach County; each bag contained the following items: one pack of notebook paper, one pack of pencil top erasers, two packs of #2 pencils, a pencil sharpener, a ruler, a composition book, four pocket folders, and one pack of colored pencils.

“This is a wonderful way for us to give back to our employees,” said Shelli Giardino, Director of Human Resources at Devonshire.  “It’s a small gesture of thanks that goes a long way in making this time of year just a little bit easier for parents and children alike.”
