Christmas Day Volunteers

The Community Caring Center of Greater Boynton Beach, Inc. and the Boynton Beach Faith-Based CDC have partnered for its 4th Annual Christmas Day Dinner. For Christmas Day the CCC Green Market will close the cafe to paying customers and prepare meals to be offered for FREE to those in need. Our dinner is under the supervision of Ms. Everlene Baker, CCC Vice President and Board Member of the Faith-Based CDC, and it is intended to deliver hot meals to the frail and elderly shut-ins in the Heart of Boynton, and serve at the cafe to our homeless, and the many un- and under- employed in the greater community.
Volunteers are needed that can drive a hot meal to the 274 frail and elderly we serve here in this community.
Also, buses do not run on Christmas Day and it is hard for many homeless to get to us, so some meals are driven to several locations we know about around town where they will gather.
Volunteers from other congregations that would like to take a meal to a member of their congregation, pls let us know how many you need and you many pick them up from Noon am to 4 pm Christmas Day.
