30987980478?profile=RESIZE_710xFort Lauderdale, FL – This season, everyone is invited to celebrate the holidays and the spirit of community by attending Children’s Harbor’s annual Boat Parade Watch Party Presented by Bernheim Kelley Injury Lawyers on Saturday, December 13, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Grateful Palate Waterfront located at 3003 NE 32nd Ave. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This isn’t your typical fundraiser. There will be no formal pitch or donation ask. Just good company, great views, and a chance to celebrate the season while supporting an incredible cause. Attendees will have prime viewing opportunities of the incredible boats decked out in seasonal decor cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway in the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade route.

The event offers guests an all-you-can-eat feast, an open bar, and a prime view of one of Fort Lauderdale’s top holiday experiences, hosted at an iconic restaurant in South Florida. Having front-row seats doesn’t just offer prime visibility to the show; it also ensures the spotlight is on the impactful work Children’s Harbor is making on the families in our community.

“Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and cared for,” said Jesse Bernheim, Bernheim Kelly Injury Lawyers. “Children’s Harbor makes that possible every day, and I’m proud that our team can play an important part in helping those kids build brighter futures. At Bernheim Kelley, giving back isn’t just something we do — it’s part of who we are.”

Children’s Harbor is a nationally accredited nonprofit organization that provides a safe shelter and support to teens in foster care while strengthening families in our community. With a main campus in Pembroke Pines, Children’s Harbor provides a supportive environment for teenagers and their siblings, offering programs focused on supporting the family as a whole. The nonprofit’s services include free in-home counseling to prevent children from entering foster care and a Maternity Home program for safe intergenerational living for teen mothers. For over 27 years, Children’s Harbor has been a sanctuary of hope and healing for children affected by abuse, thanks to support from community supporters, donors, and sponsors like Bernheim Kelley Injury Lawyers.

“We’re incredibly thankful to Bernheim Kelley for stepping up as our presenting sponsor for the second year in a row. They are heart-deep and mission-focused, and that level of commitment truly empowers us to provide the critical interventions at Children’s Harbor that wouldn’t be possible without private funding,” said Tiffani Dhooge, President and CEO of Children’s Harbor. “With partners like them in our corner, we can reach even higher for our kids.”

About Children’s Harbor

Established in 1996, Children’s Harbor is a nationally accredited child welfare organization with a mission to help strengthen families who are struggling in our community, while providing safe shelter and support to teens in foster care so that they may grow into healthy, educated, and productive adults.

With the belief that children should feel safe, that family is worth fighting for, and that cycles can be broken, Children’s Harbor provides a harbor of hope and healing for children who have been impacted by the trauma of child abuse.  The main campus in Pembroke Pines provides a supportive family environment for teenagers in foster care and their younger siblings. The family support services program prevents kids from coming into foster care by providing free in-home counseling and support to families who are struggling in the community. Additionally, Brown’s Harbor is a supportive housing community dedicated to serving young adults, aged 18-23, who have aged out of the foster care system.  These young adults are provided with affordable housing and the wrap-around support and independent living programs necessary to help them overcome their trauma and navigate through the early stages of adulthood.
