MIAMI — Miami Dolphins fullback Alec Ingold delivered a memorable holiday surprise to 60 children at Children’s Harbor last night as part of his ongoing “Gifts in Gold” campaign. Kids spent the evening hanging out with Ingold, enjoying holiday activities, and unwrapping their personalized “Kickstart Kits.” Each kit included new “kicks” aka shoes, self-care items, and a motivational letter from Ingold. Ingold also gave each child a tablet for online learning.
“My goal is to give these kids confidence and encouragement that lasts long after tonight,” said Ingold. “The Kickstart Kits from the ‘Gifts In Gold’ campaign are just one way Ingold Family Foundation is working to support foster children in the community.”
Ingold’s “Gifts in Gold” campaign, presented by Impact 100, returned for the 2025–26 NFL season to provide gifts to foster children at Children’s Harbor in South Florida. For every 30 yards Ingold and the Miami Dolphins offense earn in the 2025–26 NFL season, Ingold Family Foundation is donating a “Kickstart Kit” to a child at Children’s Harbor. So far this season, Ingold and the Dolphins offense have recorded 3,960 yards, meaning Ingold Family Foundation is donating 132 Kickstart Kits and counting. The remaining kits will be delivered to Children’s Harbor at the end of the NFL season.
Established in 1996, Children’s Harbor is a nationally accredited child welfare organization dedicated to providing safe harbor and support to at-risk children and youth. Children’s Harbor has helped over 11,000 children stay safely in their homes and out of the foster care system, preventing hundreds of children from being separated from their siblings. Additionally, Children’s Harbor also provides family group homes for teenagers who have been removed from their parents because of egregious abuse or neglect, maternity homes, and housing support for foster kids newly 18-years-old.
