Ducky is the sweetest boy! His former owner, an elderly man who is sick, had
to surrender him due to the fact he is no longer able to care for Ducky. This

About Our Rescue Group...
Happy Tails Dog Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, vetting, and rehoming
dogs from kill shelters. Currently we are a small team of volunteers who rescue and fully vet dogs who
are about to be euthanized. It is our goal to provide the necessary veterinary care, grooming, and
attention they may need and to ultimately place them in forever homes. The inspiration for Happy
Tails Dog Rescue came about after my husband and I rescued our dog, Sophie, who was 24 hours
away from being euthanized at MDAS. She was considered "undesirable" due to the fact she was an
older dog in desperate need of grooming, costly dental work, and lots of love and attention as she
