Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. -- More than 300 residents and invited guests gathered at a Grand Re-Opening Gala event to celebrate the luxurious renovations at Devonshire at PGA National including to the Churchill Lounge and the Stratford Performing Arts Center.
“Our cocktail lounge, the Churchill, is very popular and we realized we no longer had adequate seating so we expanded the space by 30%,” said Wendy Paige, director of sales, Devonshire. “The lounge’s interior still incorporates an area for music and dancing, but the bar moved to better accommodate more patrons. We are also very excited about what's happening outside! We now have a patio seating area which accommodates additional lounge patrons who prefer a more relaxed, informal setting."
Devonshire’s popular Stratford Performing Arts Center, the location for cabaret performances and dinners, lectures, meetings, and other events, had a makeover.
“This is one of our most popular rooms," said Paige. "The room now has new stage curtains, new chandeliers, and new carpeting. The walls were painted, the chairs are reupholstered and the sliding doors to the adjacent clubroom have been replaced. This is a very exciting time for us!"
Residents enjoyed music, gourmet appetizers, ice sculptures, dessert and much more at the event.
