First Presbyterian Church

Pratt Hall  235 SW 6th Av  Boynton Beach FL 33435

Ralph Papa will cover the highlights of his restoration work on the five murals hanging at Forest Park Elementary School’s by Boynton Beach artist Bernard P. Thomas. The five paintings, painted in 1964, depict landscape and nature themes and scenes from the Seminoles and Old Florida: Capt. Long John Silver and his crew, geese flying above a lake and a giant marlin jumping out of the water. Papa’s work was made possible by the Boynton Beach Historical Society.  He will also discuss the work that the artists of Plein Air Palm Beach are doing in capturing today’s scenes for tomorrow's history.
