(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) — In December, many employees of Devonshire at PGA National and Chatsworth, the community’s continuing care neighborhood, received a special holiday gift — donated funds distributed from the Employee Appreciation Fund.
Throughout the year, residents donate toward the campaign as a way to say “thank you” to employees at the community who provide a variety of services. Each summer and winter, residents help to distribute the funds to over 200 staff members working in departments including, but not limited to, dining services, housekeeping, security, transportation, activities, communication, and grounds, as well as the community’s certified nursing assistants.
About $100,000 was distributed among the eligible employees at a community reception where staff members had the opportunity to write notes of thanks to residents for their generosity.
