The West Palm Beach Garden Club’s Monday, Feb. 13, meeting features the club’s own Molly Sims, an Advanced Florida Master Naturalist.  Her presentation will be “Accessing Our Hidden Treasures.”

The club’s meeting begins at 10 a.m. at the Palm Springs Library, 217 Cypress Lane.  It is open to the public at no cost, and light refreshments will be served.

About our speaker: Aside from her naturalist certification, Molly Sims is a member of the executive board of the Mounts Botanical Garden and serves on its committees for education and children’s programs.  Also certified as a Master Gardener, Sims started Palmetto Elementary School’s butterfly garden, which was recognized by the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and North American Butterfly Association, and arranged installation of the Palmetto pupils’ vegetable garden.  She is a Green School Ambassador and leads school groups on field trips at the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.
