To support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Kathryn Krickstein Pressel MammoVan is coming to the Boca Raton Airport. The airport has teamed up with the Boca Raton Regional Hospital to offer mammograms at the Customs and Border Protection Facility.
The MammoVan is a mobile mammography van that utilizes the same imaging technology offered at the hospital, the Senographe Pristina 3D Mammography System. Testing is 100% covered by insurance and there is financial assistance available for those in need. Since 2010, the MammoVan has performed more than 13,000 mammograms and diagnosed 42 women.
