The Friends of the Boca Raton Public Library are celebrating Oktoberfest and the booming craft beer industry in Florida with a lecture by published author Mark DeNote, along with a craft beer tasting and food pairing.

Mark DeNote is the author of The Great Florida Craft Beer Guide and Tampa Bay Beer: A Heady History. He also edits, reports, interviews and writes the story behind craft beer at FloridaBeerNews.com. Mark is a teacher at heart, and enjoys talking about beer and beer history almost as much as tasting beer.

Attendees will taste a hand-picked selection of Florida craft beers. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, and there is a suggested $5 donation. Enrollment is required through the calendar at bocalibrary.org. Must be age 21 or older to attend.
