Human trafficking, the modern form of slavery, is a global phenomenon with very real implications locally. According to the President's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, there are more slaves today than ever before, with an estimated 21 million victims. And every 30 seconds one more person is added to this number.

Dr. Linda Geller-Schwartz will tell us the signs of Human Trafficking and what we can do to save victims. Dr. Linda Geller-Schwartz is the Coordinator of POAST (Partner Organizations Against Sex Trafficking), a Palm Beach County coalition that combats human trafficking through awareness, education, and advocacy.

Before moving to Florida over twenty years ago, Linda was the Director General of the Women's Bureau in the federal Department of Labor in Canada, and a senior policy adviser to the government.  Linda earned her PhD in Political Science from the University of Toronto and her M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwLJBQbCL14
