For several billion people the issue of the existence of a god is a no-brainer. Of course there is a god and a supernatural world. Just look around you! But for millions and millions of other people it is also a no-brainer: Of course there is no god. Just look around you. We hear the arguments made by the purveyors of religious ideologies all the time on the streets, in houses of worship, and in all kinds of mass media. Now hear some arguments of those for whom the existence of God and a supernatural world is questioned...or simply denied.
Geoff Kashdan will request audience participation at several points during the presentation. Questions will be posed and audience members will brainstorm responses for the larger group to consider. This will be intellectually stimulating....and fun.
Geoff Kashdan is a life-long learner and a life-long teacher. After retiring from decades of working with handicapped children and adults, he embarked on creating a series of Power Point presentations on topics which he found fascinating. The research and visuals for each of the 30 talks in that series, MIND ODYSSEYS, is what he delights in sharing with other life-long learners.
Geoff is also a member of the ACLU, The League of Women Voters, NOW, Planned Parenthood, Americans United for the Separation of Church and State and the Freedom from Religion Foundation and a board member of his HOA. In his spare times he breaths.
