Holiday Bazaar

November 13 and 14, 2015

9:00 – 3:00

The Holly House is a ministry for women who create unique items for the Holiday Bazaar, held in the Holly House on the northeast corner of the church propery. Twenty to twenty-five talented women have been working on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings since March in preparation for the big event.

The Skillful Stitchers have sewn a selection of Raggedy Ann dolls, aprons, baskets, pillows, tree skirts, place mats and table runners. Cloth books with moveable parts will delight little children. Crochet hooks fly as the Clever Crafters make children's sweaters and hats. The Crafters whip out angels, ornaments, and treasures. Snazzy flip flops are a big hit. The newest item is a picture frame that holds jewelry. Not only is it a lovely decoration, the jewelry is easily accessible. The Fantastic Florists decorate Christmas trees and wreaths that are unique. A perfect gift for a seamstress is a tree decorated with spools of thread, bobbins, pin cushions, thimbles, etc. Boating enthusiast will love the tree with a nautical theme. Pottery cherubs surrounded by gold leaves and berries are elegant decorations for a triangle shaped tree. The wreaths are unique and colorful. Snow white wreaths with purple and lime green decorations will make a statement on any wall or door. There are wreaths and trees that will be perfect for the modern home and there are traditional arrangements with poinsettias, holly, and holiday colors, The Jazzy Jewelers design earrings, necklaces, and pins. They refurbish jewelry and watches that have been donated.
