The Chancel Choir of Calvary U.M.C., joined by one of the area’s most promising young sopranos and three eminent members of South Florida’s string community, presents a program of works for the Christmas season at 10:00 A.M. on December 23rd, 2012. Included on the program are the premiere of Greg Stepanich’s Dark Were the Days for SAB choir, piano and string trio; Gustav Holst’s Christmas Day in an arrangement for choir, piano and strings; the season’s favorite vocal solo, O, Holy Night, along with other vocal and instrumental works. Joseph Youngblood is the group’s pianist; the ensemble is conducted by Clare Shore.

The public is cordially invited to attend the service at no charge. There is free ample parking in the lot behind the church.
