Description:
In October of 1942, several families sought shelter from the Nazis by seeking asylum in caves for nearly a year and a half. This is the longest recorded uninterrupted underground survival occurrence. This incredible ordeal would have remained silent if not for Chris Nicola, a caver, who decades later explored caves in the Ukraine and accidentally stumbled upon their tale. Surviving members of the Stermer family, along with the caver Chris Nicola and a producer of the film will be present for discussion and Q & A.
