The Boca Raton Public Library is pleased to present a new art exhibit, “Marks Over Time,” by Tina Salvesen. Her artwork focuses on fine mark making using charcoal, pencil, ink, watercolor, pastels, paint and encaustic.

Tina Salvesen recently returned to her native Florida after living in the Northeast and Europe for many years. She attended Skidmore College, and received a bachelor’s degree in Art. She also holds an M.Ed. in Art Education from Temple University. Regarded as a master draftsman, she has won many awards in shows throughout the United States. She has exhibited worldwide, including shows in the Newark Museum, the New Jersey State Museum, State Museum of Pennsylvania, and Belgium and Spain.

“Marks Over Time” will run from November 12–December 15, 2017, at the Downtown Library, an Art in Public Places venue, at 400 NW 2nd Avenue. The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular library hours.
