August 25 at 8: Amed Torrecilla brings his MIXTURINC to Arts Garage. MIXTURINC is a musical project where the musicians act as a brotherhood with live flamenco-jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms with classical music influences; all under the concept and direction of Amed Torrecilla, who has lived among the most authentic flamenco and jazz artists throughout his stay in Madrid.

Having been fed all this musical wealth, Torrecilla has found now is the right time to merge these genres and he has retained the freshness of novelty that departs from the obvious and delves into the root of every genre, keeping in mind the latest trends in European and international festivals.

This project was nominated for awards Cubadisco 2013 and with the approval of the foreign press and national and international radios in addition to very positive reviews of experts with Gian Franco Grilli, Italy and Rafa Bassi Labarrera, Colombia and the United States.

Amed Torrecilla has recently relocated to the United States. This has allowed him the opportunity to participate in all kinds of music scenarios and become affiliated with the most sought-after musicians of the area to continue the tradition of making elegant, interesting music that proposes a harmonic and percussive richness with an authentic folk flavor.

Arts Garage is located at 94 NE 2nd Ave in Delray Beach. Tickets are $20-$30-$35 at artsgarage.org or 561-450-6357. BRING YOUR OWN ... WHATEVER! The theater boasts cabaret-style table seating, where patrons can bring their own food and drinks, including alcohol. Music courtesy of KCC Productions.
